Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), a leading IT and data management research and consulting firm, today announced it will host a webinar titled "TLS 1.3: Expert Advice to Modernize Your Security and Decryption Practices," featuring Paula Musich, research director of security and risk management at EMA, and Scott Register, vice president of product management at Ixia, a Keysight business.
EMA surveyed 249 IT executives and practitioners focused on enterprise security to assess their readiness to adopt TLS 1.3, worries over the operational and security implications of the new standard, and how TLS 1.3 fits into broader trends around the use of encryption in the enterprise.
The EMA research found that 73 percent of survey respondents have either already begun enabling TLS 1.3 for inbound connections or are planning to enable it within the next six months, while 74 percent have either begun TLS 1.3 enablement for internal connections or plan to enable it for internal traffic within the next six months.
Clearly, TLS 1.3 is a top-of-mind priority for most enterprises. In response, this EMA webinar will delve into the research findings on this topic, including how organizations plan to take advantage of the new standard. Additionally, how TLS 1.3 will affect an organization's network and require reengineering of security decryption practices will be discussed. Ultimately, the webinar will provide a roadmap of what lies ahead and how an organization needs to prepare. Read related news now.
The webinar is Wednesday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Registration is available at http://info.enterprisemanagement.com/tls-1.3-expert-advice-to-modernize-your-security-and-decryption-practices-webinar-pr
