Alexandria Technical & Community College Partners with eCampus.com Virtual Bookstores to Improve Course Materials Affordability for Students

After a competitive search for a partner to help transition the college from a brick and mortar bookstore to an online solution, ATCC selected eCampus.com Virtual Bookstores to help students obtain course materials at a significantly reduced cost, while also providing a streamlined and convenient ordering process. Beginning in summer 2019, ATCC will have expanded access to course materials in every format, including new, used, rental, eBook, and a peer-to-peer marketplace. The new partnership will afford ATCC a select bookstore experience that focuses on textbook affordability delivered through a convenient 24/7 customized website.

The eCampus.com platform will offer integration with ATCC's Student Information System using students' Star ID. After registering for courses, students will see a listing of required textbooks according to their schedule, along with the ability to purchase or rent the materials with the click of a button. Further complementing the solution for students is an exceptional customer service team who will provide superior year-round support. Best-in-class service begins with onsite buybacks in May 2019 where students will receive premium pricing for course materials. Faculty also benefit from the new eCampus.com partnership through access to a powerful online adoption tool that streamlines the entire adoption process. Continue reading.
