HAPE COMMITS FUNDS TO FIGHT CORONAVIRUS: Award-Winning Toy Manufacturer Makes Major Donation

On January 30, toy manufacturer Hape International donated a portion of its $5 million charitable fund to combat the outbreak of the New Coronavirus Pneumonia (NCP), making the company the first foreign-invested enterprise in Beilun, China, to make a donation. Read all the related news.

The donation is designated to purchase medical equipment, compensate medical workers, and ease the surging demand for protective equipment. Says Hape, "We know that without the support and empowerment of the community, Hape could never make such a contribution. Now it's our turn to repay society."

Hape is also working closely with the local government and the community, strictly following the epi-control policies, and keeping close track of the health and travel conditions of its staff in China, building a solid supervision system to guarantee a safe path during this difficult period.
