Yuma Senior Living announces its first annual Stuff the Stocking celebration to be held Saturday, December 14th from 10Am to noon. Yuma Senior Living leadership staff and other Yuma community partners and volunteers will be donating candy and small toys to the first 300 children who are 12 years or younger. "We are excited about this event. Unfortunately, we know that there are too many children in our community who do not receive holiday gifts on Christmas day or during the holiday season" said Deborah Hall, Executive Director. "Our partners and team will hand out sweets and small toys to be stuffed in holiday stockings that will be given to the first 300 children who come visit us – children who visit us need to be accompanied by their guardian or parent."
Privately owned and locally operated Yuma Senior Living is committed as Yuma's resource for seniors or their loved ones when searching for quality accommodations and/or assisted living services. "This event will be another way to showcase our organization and our commitment to be a true Yuma community partner," said Hall.
