Florida National University Hosts its Spring 2018 Job Fair

On Thursday, May 10th, 2018, Florida National University (FNU) will be hosting its Spring 2018 Job Fair. The event is set to take place from 10AM to 1PM at FNU's Hialeah Campus that is located at 4425 W Jose Regueiro (20th) Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33012. This event is the first of two annual career events where over 30 companies are scheduled to be in attendance, all of which are looking to hire for multiple positions.

Job Placement Officer, Hernan "Fred" Gutierrez, knows the grand prospect of an event like this: "There's going to be a lot of great employers in the building, so we're extremely excited to present the opportunity to pair those companies with job-seekers in our community. Stratosphere Networks Sponsors Evanston Scholars Annual Benefit, POMP!

Evanston Scholars runs a comprehensive six-year program involving workshops, mentors, ACT prep, and college counseling to support students' academic and/or financial needs. Traditionally, the students served by the nonprofit organization are first-generation college entrants, low-income students, and students of color.

‘Pet’ Perks May Pay off for Employers, New Survey Finds

A new survey by Pet Sitters International (PSI) indicates that pet-friendly workplace policies are considered a benefit by pet-owning employees. These employees also feel that pets have a positive impact on the work environment.

PSI, the world's largest educational association for professional pet sitters and creator of Take Your Dog To Work Day®, surveyed more than 1,000 pet owners on pet-friendly workplace policies and benefits.
