Enacted by Congress in 1975, HMDA provides loan data to the public that can be used to assist in determining whether financial institutions are serving the housing needs of their communities, attract private investments to areas where it is needed, and to assist in identifying possible discriminatory lending patterns.

‘Pet’ Perks May Pay off for Employers, New Survey Finds

A new survey by Pet Sitters International (PSI) indicates that pet-friendly workplace policies are considered a benefit by pet-owning employees. These employees also feel that pets have a positive impact on the work environment.

PSI, the world's largest educational association for professional pet sitters and creator of Take Your Dog To Work Day®, surveyed more than 1,000 pet owners on pet-friendly workplace policies and benefits.

Additionally, 51 percent of the pet owners said that if choosing between two potential employers (equal on all other accounts), a pet-friendly policy would be a deciding factor.

Lumos Launches Smart Gesture Recognition With Apple Watch, Becomes First Smart Bike Helmet To Be Sold In the Apple Store

This spring, Lumos will be releasing a significant upgrade: An app on the Apple Watch that will enable a rider to activate the turn signals on his/her helmet with just their hand gestures.    

With this groundbreaking smart Gesture Recognition technology, riders will no longer have to use the remote to activate their turn signal. Instead, the technology enhances the riders safety by fitting around the rider's normal behavior. By automatically activating the turn signal via hand gestures, the rider enjoys a seamless, safer experience.    

The Lumos Helmet will now also feature enhanced Bluetooth connectivity to the iPhone. With an upgraded iPhone app, the Helmet can now be integrated with Strava and Apple Health, allowing riders to have their ride activity recorded automatically whenever they ride.
