HD LifeSciences Exhibiting New Lumbar Interbody Configurations at AANS Annual Scientific Meeting 2018

HD LifeSciences’ Soft Titanium™ lattice technology will be exhibited at the 2018 AANS Annual Meeting in New Orleans. HD LifeScience’s booth will feature their latest Hive interbodies, including the new Long TLIF, Wide ALIF and Hyperlodotic ALIF configurations.

Lucas Diehl, CEO of HD LifeSciences states, “We are tremendously excited to expand our lumbar interbody portfolio, and apply our technology across a broader range of surgeon preferences and technique variations. I think the advantages of our Soft Titanium technology will be especially evident when used to treat high risk patients. For example, we expect our new implants to demonstrate a decreased rate of subsidence in patients with low bone density.”

Developed through extensive research and engineering, and in partnership with surgeons, HD LifeScience’s lumbar implants were FDA approved and released to market in 2017. Designed to overcome limitations of current industry-standard implants, each Hive ALIF, PLIF, and TLIF features four pillars of technology: stiffness, in growth, on growth, and imaging.

All HD Lifesciences products are based on the patented Soft Titanium technology platform. Soft Titanium is an innovative honeycomb lattice engineered to have an "elastic modulus" that is lower than PEEK, yet maintains the durability necessary for a permanent implant. Due to this robust technology, HD has not had any reported incidents of implant fracture.

HD LifeSciences invites AANS Annual Meeting attendees to visit Booth #1745 to learn more about their Soft Titanium technology and rapidly expanding Hive interbody line.
