LapWorks Introducing The First Glare-Cancelling Expandable Full Sized 4K TV Swivel

The ever-expanding big screen TV sets – and their ever-expanding price – has led to a kind of "arms race" among accessories companies to accommodate these large, heavy, awkward, expensive and sometimes delicate electronic devices. Founded in 2000, California-based LapWorks® Inc., has a long history making stands, supports, handles, brackets and swivels that take into consideration the particular needs of sensitive, costly electronics – while also providing ease of use and freedom for the user. Their latest release to the market is the industry's first free-standing, modular swivel base capable of accommodating the newest and largest 4K TV's.

The newer 4K big screen TV's have two legs for support and the spread between the legs of these 4K units can vary greatly, so a modular swivel was needed. To accommodate these 4K TV units, LapWorks engineered a solution – their new "4K TV Swivel". Read all the latest news.

According to experts, eye-strain is often caused by screen glare and the worst problems are generally from sources of light above or behind the viewer, including room lighting and sunlight through windows. With the LapWorks 4K TV Swivel, users can easily and safely rotate or swivel their TV sets to a different viewing angle in the room. The viewer can avoid glare by pointing their 4K TV at their favorite chair. Or they can watch from the kitchen or while exercising – adding more freedom, versatility, comfort and added-value to their home entertainment system.

The LapWorks 4K TV Swivel is modular in construction, allowing users to expand the width in 6" increments to meet their TV's size. The 6" extensions allow for quick and easy expansion from the basic length of 14" up to 48", which is large enough for most 60 to 65" TV's. More extensions are available to order to expand as wide as needed. Swivel even the largest 85" TV's by adding more 6" extensions. The 4K TV Swivel will fit the user's current TV and can expand to fit the bigger TV that they might order next. The center module rolls smoothly on 14 enclosed steel ball bearings (1/2" diameter each) which allow the complete stand to rotate freely 360-degrees or as far as the 4K TV's space allows.

Five each – 2" round micro suction pads secure the center module to the platform. Their gripping force ensures that the swivel rotates from the center and stays securely in place. Although the adhesive is aggressive, the center module can be repositioned as needed. Extension modules glide easily over surfaces with no scratching or imprinting on the surfaces they set on. To achieve this, LapWorks developed a high density, highly compressed felt plug that won't scratch or indent surfaces it sits on. Extension modules glide smoothly on any smooth surface.

For safety and to prevent over-rotation and potential TV damage, two each custom stoppers 2" round with micro-suction adhesive can be easily fitted to limit the range of motion. As a second safety feature, LapWorks Includes an anchor (earthquake) strap that prevents the TV from falling forward due to violent shaking. Click here.

Engineered with the highest quality materials and workmanship, the LapWorks 4K TV Swivel is backed by a lifetime warranty. Accommodates any TV with a front-to-back leg width of 12.6 inches or less. The 4K TV Swivel is suitable for TV's weighing up to 150 pounds. Starting at an introductory price is $69.95. Read news here.

"We are the first company to create a swivel for the newest and largest 4K TVs," said José Calero, founder and president of LapWorks. "This heavy-duty swivel has been carefully engineered and tested to firmly and securely hold the TV in place while also allowing complete freedom and ease of rotation. We're so confident of its high quality construction that – like all of our products - we guarantee it for life."

Second-Generation Bond Touch Bracelet Brings Long-Distance Lovers Closer than Ever with Stylish Upgrades

Bond Touch, creator of the first and only bracelet that keeps loved ones connected through touch, today announced the second-generation Bond Touch, the wearable that helps long-distance relationships keep the affection flowing no matter the distance. After the immense success of the sold-out first-generation product, Bond Touch has expedited the release of its updated bracelet. With a simple tap, your love feels a gentle vibration and sees a light through their Bond Touch bracelet that lets them know you are thinking of them.

As one of the five love languages, physical affection has a powerful effect on our bodies and brains, releasing the feel-good "love" hormone oxytocin. A simple embrace, holding hands, a quick back-rub – all can calm our anxiety, create a sense of intimacy and well-being and make us feel forever bonded. But for many couples, business travel, long-distance relationships, college and military deployment make it nearly impossible to sustain all that goodness. That's changing thanks to Bond Touch.

The second-generation Bond Touch bracelets improve upon the popular original, making them even more essential for long-distance relationships. The new bracelets include all of the great features of the earlier model, plus a longer battery life, a slimmer profile, waterproofing and even more options for lighting customization. Read here.

How it works:

"Having personally experienced the challenges and longing that distance can cause, I was inspired to create Bond Touch to help others bridge the physical divide and keep their relationships thriving despite the miles," said Christoph Dressel, founder and CEO of Bond Touch. "With an average of 100,000 touches sent each day, our customers and their relationships are truly our first priority, and their feedback has been instrumental in perfecting the new and improved Bond Touch."

Priced at $98 with free U.S. shipping, the second-generation Bond Touch will be available for purchase online starting July 24 at http://www.bond-touch.com. The bracelets can be purchased and shipped throughout North America, as well as many countries in Europe and beyond.

Shine United Named Ad Agency Partner For The University Of Wisconsin-Whitewater

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (UW-Whitewater) College of Business and Economics has hired Shine United for a variety of strategic and creative projects designed to bolster their online degree program. The two-year partnership was awarded following a rigorous interview process with three other Wisconsin-based agencies.

UW-Whitewater's business program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, a distinction only bestowed upon 5% of business schools worldwide. In addition to the fixed-tuition rate for all students, the online degree program offers greater class flexibility than a traditional in-classroom program.

Shine United, a full-service advertising agency based in Madison, Wisconsin, will be responsible for a "do-everything" campaign seeking to elevate perceptions, attract applicants and drive enrollment. Services will include marketing and brand strategy, quantitative research and a wide range of activation services including media planning/buying, digital and inbound marketing, creative development and video production. More info here.

"The online degree program at UW-Whitewater is one of the best in the country," said Dr. John Chenoweth, Dean of the College of Business and Economics. "It's time for our brand to get the credit it truly deserves — meaning better perceptions and increased enrollment. We chose Shine because they had a deep understanding of our business, a thoughtful approach to our brand and a truly integrated framework to drive success."

This partnership is an exciting opportunity for the agency, since Shine is home to many UW-Whitewater alumni, both on the faculty and student side.

"Along with several Shine staff ties to UW-Whitewater, working with an academic institution as accomplished as their business college is an exciting challenge for Shine," said Curt Hanke, Shine founder and CEO. "We want to help them build a brand that will attract new students to their second-to-none online degree program, but still want to maintain the emphasis that this is part of an overall university system. We are honored to have the opportunity to partner at such an exciting time for the college and university."

VetStem Biopharma Shares the Success Story of Seve who was Treated with VetStem Cell Therapy by Dr. Cindy Echevarria

At nearly eleven years old, Seve, a white Golden Retriever, began showing symptoms of discomfort in his back legs. According to his owner, in the last year or so, he was a little "gimpy" and occasionally his back legs would go out from under him. His veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Echevarria of VCA University Animal Hospital in Dallas, diagnosed him with severe osteoarthritis in his hips and recommended treatment with VetStem Cell Therapy.

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/canine-camp-getaway-of-ny-dog-vacation.html

Seve's owners decided to move forward with stem cell therapy and in a minimally invasive surgical procedure, Dr. Echevarria collected fat from Seve's abdomen. The fat tissue was packaged and shipped in a temperature-controlled container to the VetStem laboratory in Poway, California. Once received, the fat was aseptically processed and injectable doses of Seve's own stem and regenerative cells were created. Three doses were shipped to Dr. Echevarria and approximately 48 hours after the fat collection, Seve received one injection into each hip and one injection intravenously.

Be alert to the latest news.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/the-npd-group-reports-fragrance-trends.html

According to Seve's owner, keeping his activity restricted while he healed was not easy but ended up being well worth it in the end. His mom, Sallie, said he showed dramatic improvement. She stated, "I will definitely do it again when he needs it. His quality of life is so much better. What a miracle!"

Dr. Cindy Echevarria has been VetStem Credentialed since 2015. She has provided VetStem services for nearly 40 patients, including Stuart and her own dog, Bella.

Stem cells are regenerative cells that can differentiate into many tissue types, reduce pain and inflammation, help to restore range of motion, and stimulate regeneration of tendon, ligament and joint tissues. In a peer-reviewed study of dogs with chronic osteoarthritis of the hip, it was found that stem cells reduced lameness and pain. Click here to read the latest news.

Franklin County Visitors Bureau Highlights 1864 Weekend

The Franklin County Visitors Bureau invites all to 1864 Weekend in Franklin County, July 19 & 20, 2019. Celebrate community and human spirit--its resiliency, faith, and courage--with a historical re-enactment of the ransoming, burning and Rebirth of Chambersburg on July 20 at 9 PM. Leading up to the light show--so realistic the town looks ablaze--is the 1864 Civil War Ball at Allison-Antrim Museum on July 19, 7 PM to 9 PM; Market Day Festival in downtown Chambersburg, 9 AM to 4 PM; and 2019 A Cappella & Unplugged Finals on July 20 at 7 PM.

The history behind the event is the July 30,1864 Confederate ransoming of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The demand was $100,000 in gold or $500,000 in Union currency. When the town could not pay the ransom, Chambersburg was burned. More than 2000 residents were without homes. The total loss of real estate and personal property exceeded $1.5 million in the dollars of the day. In stark contrast, today's Chambersburg thrives.

The 1864 Civil War Ball, on July 19, takes place in the German bank barn at Allison Antrim Museum in Greencastle. Everyone is welcome to attend, even those with limited dance experience. The Victorian Dance Ensemble will demonstrate the dance, place guests in the proper formation, and help them execute the dance. Tickets are $15 individually and $25 per couple. Civil War attire is welcome but not required. Register here.

More than 100 vendors fill the streets of downtown Chambersburg on Saturday, July 20, 9 AM to 4 PM. The day is filled with arts, handiworks, food, and music. At 5:30 PM, downtown Chambersburg steps back to 1864, offering Civil War walking tours, displays, and book signings. At 7 PM, the 1864 celebration continues with the final round of A Cappella & Unplugged, performed on the steps of the 11/30 Visitors Center. Bring a lawn chair and join selecting this year's champion and winner of $500.

At 9 PM, history comes to life as Jacob Hoke, an actual merchant on the square of Chambersburg in 1864, meets Confederate General "Tiger" John McCausland, who executed the order of his superior General Jubal Early to ransom Chambersburg and burn the town, if the ransom was not paid. As the story unfolds, the downtown buildings are the backdrop of the ransoming, burning, and ultimately the rebirth of the town, which courageously rose from the ashes of war.

Community College Cyber Summit ready to impress in Bayou country

From cybersecurity workshops, Digital Badges and a job fair to outdoor music and tours, the sixth annual Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) is ready to educate and entertain. This event is being hosted at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana, July 30 to Aug. 1.

3CS is the nation's only academic conference focused on cybersecurity education at community colleges. It helps raise institutions' capability maturity level while helping them develop new labs, programs, practices, program components, methods of instruction and courses. Community colleges produce a vast talent pool of future cybersecurity employees desperately needed around the world, and 3CS plays a role in that development.

"The impact that 3CS has had, and will have on the cybersecurity workforce in the area of training and networking makes this a must-attend event. We look forward to seeing partners from across the nation come together with the common goal of providing instruction to the cybersecurity workforce to protect our country's security," said Chris Rondeau, Bossier Parish Community College Professor and Program Director of Network Security.

This year's 3CS features several exciting Cybersecurity Skills Development Workshops (CSDW) such as Secure Scripting, Cybersecurity Skills Journal, Hands-on Cryptography and Intro to IBM's QRadar. Over 95 presentations, panel discussions and workshops are offered within five tracks: Evidence-Based, Instruction, Practice, Program Development and Student. Participants have a plethora of hands-on learning opportunities from experienced faculty and professionals in the field. Read latest news here.

The event also includes a Job Fair and Career Exploration that allows employers to recruit and invest in the future workforce for only $150. Academic institutions are invited to attend this to offer students support through their educational journey by way of transfer options and career pathways.

Two events offered in conjunction with 3CS cater to girls: IBM CyberDay4Girls and Girl Scout Cyber Badge. These engaging events are a gateway for girls to break gender stereotypes in the cybersecurity profession and introduce females at an early age to a variety of STEM careers.

3CS also is offering Digital Badges for the first time. Attendees, presenters and CSDW participants can earn these badges. Based on specific criteria attained, the badge is a validated credential and indicator of achievement, skill or interest viewable by employers, academic institutions and the community. A Digital Badge is a new way to display a person's training and development on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, a resume, website, blogs, in email signatures, e-portfolios and more.

A few special guests will present as keynote speakers. Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, who worked his way from being in the Army to practicing law before becoming governor in 2016, will speak on July 30 at 6 p.m. Marci McCarthy, CEO and president of T.E.N., an information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, will present "Becoming a Cybersecurity Enabler: How Community Colleges Can Bridge the Diversity and Workforce Gap" on Aug. 1 at 9 a.m.

In addition to these skills and knowledge building activities, 3CS has plenty of fun options to explore Louisiana and bond with other participants. There is cornhole, trivia night, a Louisiana Street Party, Krewe of Centaur's second line sponsor reception, "Suzie Q" Red River walking tour of Shreveport history, as well as plantation, culinary and art tours.

About Community College Cyber Summit:
The Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) is organized and produced by the National CyberWatch Center, National Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance (CSSIA), CyberWatch West (CWW), and Broadening Advanced Technological Education Connections (BATEC), which are all funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The outcomes of 3CS will leverage community college cybersecurity programs across the nation by introducing the latest technologies, best practices, curricula, products, and more.
